Avenacy is building its Commercial Sales team for sales into the Hospital/Alternate Care settings selling generic injectables.  Be a part of starting a new innovative company, with an industry leading experienced management team.  We have a very robust pipeline of products, with the first 3 products launching in January and 20+ more to come throughout 2024.  We are looking for individuals to drive our aggressive growth goals and approach to the industry.

Established in July 2023 and headquartered in Schaumburg, IL, Avenacy is a rapidly growing U.S.-based specialty pharmaceutical company focused providing critical injectable medications used to treat patients in various medically supervised settings, from acute care hospitals to outpatient clinics and physician offices. This position will be working with our Sales and Marketing departments for the US market.  He or she will be responsible for developing strong partnerships within their region, delivering sales results, developing customer-needed pipeline of new products, reducing supply issues for clients, and working with all purchasing and treatment stakeholders.  The position will work with Avenacy to develop its strategic sales plan and launch process for its rapidly growing portfolio.  We are looking for individuals who can work in a dynamic ever-changing environment and are open to innovative approaches of building and maintaining business.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing and increasing sales in assigned territory and developing new business opportunities.
  • Launch new products and programs.  Desire to excel and accomplish aggressive sales goals.
  • Utilize market and product knowledge and sales skills to identify and meet customer needs.
  • Strong organizational skills to maximize sales opportunities and deliver effective customer presentations.
  • Maintain current database for top accounts. This includes GPO and wholesaler affiliations, key contacts, address, phone, email, etc.
  • Ability to expand relationships to include all levels of pharmacy staff and other key decision makers (Buyers, Director of Pharmacy, Supervisors, Clinical, and Pharmacists).
  • Ability to navigate hospital networks effectively. Maintain access to hospitals in territory by adhering to local policies and meeting vendor credentialing requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact successfully with customers and other team members.
  • Manage sales in a manner that meets objectives and produces results to grow market share.
  • Understand current hospital market dynamics along with key challenges customers face daily.
  • Exhibit trust behaviors and strong relational skills.
  • Apply effective organization, planning, and time management skills to ensure optimal territory coverage.
  • Achieve yearly expense budgets and adhere to compliance guidelines for HCP interactions.
  • Meet administrative requirements such as sales call entry, timely expense reports, and email communications.
  • Complete all sales training requirements, including all product related training programs, vendor credentialing requirements, and compliance training.
  • Works collaboratively with entire selling team & internal support functions to accomplish objectives, assists in assuring entire sales team meets their objectives.
  • Must use CRM (Customer Relationship Management Tool) to manage Customers data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Minimum 2 years healthcare sales experience preferred, or significant sales experience in related industry.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must have the ability and willingness to travel – Auto/Air.
  • Valid Driver’s License Required
  • Excellent track record of sales growth and exceeding objectives within the hospital setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and Power Point
  • Must Reside within territory boundaries
